Winter is here.

Hello Internet,

After the winter of 2019 finally caught up with West Michigan, I have a few photos to share from the past couple of weeks. Hopefully some of these images have captured the cold, yet scerene scenery of Grand Rapids and West Michigan during this time. Locals will know that this is only the beginning of the Midwest’s longest season, so stay tuned for more snowy pictures in the near future.

Enjoy!

Luna loves the snow! This it’s been a bit too cold for her this week, with tempuraturs dipping into the negatives and wind chills of down to the minus twenties.

On Sunday we took a drive out to Grand Haven to shoot the red lighthouses during the sunset. There were a few more clouds than what was ideal for the light, but I managed to get a couple of shots that I’m fairly happy with. I will definitely want to be going back here, especially since the frozen lake and beach is spectacular.
